Judge Dariusz Drajewicz, Ph. D., Vice-Chairman of the National Council of the Judiciary of Poland Date of birth: 19.12.1972 in Krosno.
From 1997 to 1999 judicial applicant. After passing the judicial exam in Court of Appeal in Wrocław in 1999 - the regional public prosecutor's Office assessor in Bolesławiec until 2002; from 2003 to 2005, the regional public prosecutor's Office Prosecutor in Bolesławiec, from 2005 to 2017-judge of the District Court for Warsaw-Mokotow in Criminal Division; from 2017 onwards-judge seconded to the District Court in Warsaw, and then to the Court of Appeal in Warsaw, Vice President of Criminal District Court in Warsaw.
By the Sejm resolution of 6 March 2018 he was elected to the National Council of the Judiciary for the four-year term, which began on March 7, 2018. From April 27, 2018, he serves as Vice-Chairman of the National Council of the Judiciary.
Author of more than 80 scientific publications in the field of substantive criminal law and procedural law as well as constitutional issues announced, among others in: “Quarterly of the National School of Judiciary and Prosecutor's Office”, “Quarterly of the Association of Polish Judges Iustitia”, “State and Law”, “Public Prosecution and Law”, “Judicial Review”, “Palestra”, “Law and Medicine”, “Prosecutor”, “Jurisprudence of Polish Courts”, “Legal Studies”, whose theses were called in: in the judgment of the Supreme Court.
A participant in numerous international conferences, trainings and visits to the courts abroad (Australia, Romania, Slovenia). Postgraduate, a member of the examination commissions.
